Polri melalui Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (TPPO) berhasil menyelamatkan 2.549 korban TPPO periode 5 Juni-27 Agustus 2023.

Adapun modus dari para tersangka yaitu para korban diiming-imingi bekerja sebagai pekerja rumah tangga (PRT), pekerja seks komersial, anak buah kapal dan eksploitasi anak.
